I have and IFS 93 Toyota extra cab that i will be fitting with dual cases and currently have a two peice driveshaft in the rear. I will have to have new shafts built front and rear. Im going to lengthen the front but i want to know what i should do in the rear. First option is to have the two peice shortened in the front portion of the rear but im worried it will cause excess vibration. Second is to replace the two piece with one single shaft from transfer case to axle. Just wanted to see what people whought about this?

This is my truck for reference.

I have no experience with this, but my gut feeling says if you dual case it to go with a single rear drive shaft. It seems like the extra lenght of the dual case would make the distances similar to a regular cab truck. Also less components to wear and less angle on u joints.

I may be completely wrong but thats my thought process.

From what ive found out a single rear is better because it can be built to reduce driveline vibration since this is my daily driver. I just want to see what others have possibly done or think is better.

I swapped to a one-piece in my Frontier from the factory two-piece with no ill effects. No more issues with the carrier bearing, that's for sure. It would help reduce some driveline mass since you are adding some with the extra t-case.
