Anybody got a late 80s dana 60 short side inner shaft nearby?

Lol. Pretty sure it was broken on the last trip and we just didn't notice. Not my jeep.

You are kidding me, correct? Who does not bring spare axle shafts on a wheeling trip?
My old ass is tired of trying to train you kids how to prepare.
May the Force be with you Young Idiot.

fixed it

I might be able to help, but first you have to tell us how you broke a 60 shaft at URE.

My guess, stock shafts, 54" boggers, 2wd front dig burnout with wheels at max turn. LOL

Chevy, Dodge, or Ford?

Not everyone has had 20 years to accumulate spare parts old man. Lol

Stock shafts. 42 tsls and a bad bounce.

Pull shaft.
Shove a rag in the tube.
Reassemble.
Run every trail there and still never spin a tire.

Jeep did fine. Just figured someone may have one handy to replace. She will be ordering cromos from ECGS before the next trip.

Moral of the story. Jeep belongs to my baby sister. Her bf and friends wrenched on the jeep for a few weeks prepping it. They were confident it was together and they missed a few things. It was a learning experience for them.

"Who breaks a Dana 60..."

Fixed it for YOU

You would be surprised.

I've broken my front 60 twice and rear once.... Of course that was at Harlan and Quarry Town.

Dumb shit always happens at Uwharrie.
This. Because we treat it as a social outing more than a wheeling trip. Haha. It's more about the camping and friends.

Sister??? Didn't I haul a dana 35 shaft up to ya'll one sat. evenin for a wrangler she was driving?

I think he needs to post pictures of said sister...... ;)
