Recieved my new exhaust manifolds today. I need some additional advice from those who have more experience with puttting them on than I do.
Questions:
1. They came with gaskets but no additional instructions. They don't say to use a sealant, should I? If so, what type?

2. The kit comes with manifold bolts, but I have read that grade 8 bolts should be used in their place? Any thoughts...

3. Should I torque down to factory specs or something else since they are aftermarket?

the bolts that come with them probably have a smaller head than the originals so you can get a socket on them. they should be just fine, i would prefer they are not grade 8 bolts because if one ever breaks i would much rather not be drilling a grade 8.
you shouldn't use any sealant on the gaskets.
i have never torque exhaust manifolds on a cast iron head, aluminium yes but not cast iron.
