need exhaust work

I have 215K miles on my 98 Tacoma, and I can't get rid of the P0420 code for more than a few days (and I've replaced the rear O2) so I'm in need of a catalytic converter. A cheap one - none of this $300+ crap! Just want the stock one chopped off and a new one welded in place.

As I only have access to an arc welder, is there a recommended shop close by Fuquay that can do this kind of work?



Oh, and inspection is due this month.

after u spend your $ trying to save c then go to dealer and pay for new cat+pipe that muffler shop cut!!! just ask muffler shop if they guarantee their cat. will make p0420 go away their cats dont even compare to a factory toyota cat.
