I'm getting tired of my "friends" telling me they'll help me pull the transmission out of my Toyota, then when it comes down to doing it, they either "don't know where their tools are" after I've already gotten the truck to their house, or simply don't show up to help me at my house. I need my transmission pulled as soon as possible. The shop that built it put a 1 year warranty on it. All I have to do is get it out and get it to them, then of course I'll need some help putting it back in. I'll buy the beer, feed you, pay you, whatever. I just can't do it by myself and I'm about to get frustrated and start throwing tools across the garage. And before anybody asks why not just pay the shop to take it out, they'll charge me $450 just to take it out and right now I'm not cool with that. If anybody can help me, PLEASE let me know. Like I said, I'll cover the food/drinks, pay you, whatever. Thanks.

Edit: It's a 700r4 if that makes a difference.

Ive always dropped my transmissions and tcases by myself. I use 4 ratchet straps and sling the tranny between the framerails. 2 straps hold it while I loosen the other 2. Drop it to the lower 2, then loosen the others. Drop it a couple inches at a time till I can get it on my creeper then just roll it out from under the truck. I have used this method numerous times for transmissions, tcases, gas tanks.

I'll help. Just need a little gas money in exchange. My number's 919-455-5454. Give me a call and I can come in the morning.

X2 on the ratchet straps. I did this last time I replaced a clutch in a Yota truck, it made it super easy. Lower it onto a $5 HF furniture dolly.
Anotehr hint - as you probably know, getting the bell-housing bolts off is a PITA due to its location so close to the firewall.
1 - use several extensions all tied together so they are like 3' long.
2 - unbolt the front body bolts and lift the body off the frame ~2". This makes LOTS of room.
