So I was bored at the house and decided to play in the jeep well unfortunately I got her stuck so I need some help getting it free

I just pulled out my ZJ. Pics will be up soon. I'll say this though my XJ continues, to impress me and, piss me off at the same time.

Only took one pic and it doesn't do my stuck justice. I attempted to cross through the little creek in my yard which i've done multiple times in my XJ and since I hadn't done it the ZJ I thought why not lol.

Oh yeah if your wondering why I didn't just hook up my XJ it had a broken U joint in my front drive shaft which wouldn't have been such an issue if it wasn't the factory U joint from 1987 and pretty much every bolt breaking and my U joint strap being so mangled I had to go to 2 different parts stores to get the part.

Yeah reverse was a no go that creek is deeper than it looks. The tow hitch was buried deep into the bank of the creek. It had to come out forward.

You should have already changed them. Thats half of the 4X4 thing is preventive maintenance. Im sure that aint all thats fixing to break. You need to replace all the U joints in it, Check the front bearings, check the brakes and lube the brake pins, Check or go on and change the front and rear diff fluid, check the t-case fluid or change. Im sure there's a lot of stuff you need to check by now
Playing in the mud is expensive. It wears out every seal and makes it leak oil out of everything. Its not worth it.
Get ya can of PB Blaster, that stuff is great. Start soaking a couple days prior. Not trying to be an ass. You got a great Jeep. Take care of it!!!

Not trying to be a jackass or nething.....but i think i speak for all of us when i say....what creek?
Agreed, I see a driveway on one side, and grass on the other.

Ok let me try to explain the "creek" for lack of a better term. Towards the rear of my property is a fairly decent sized creek area that has been partially damned and a drainage pipe was put in to let the creek drain into the larger creek on the other side of my road. The creek originally went through my side yard but was filled with rocks then dirt to become a side yard why idk. Where I tried to cross is where the drainage pipe opens up for a little bit before it goes under the road. I had crossed that small section a couple of times but never in the zj. The jeep got stuck due to some soggy ground which combined with the crappy street terrain tires my zj just sat there and spun, eventually the jeep dug to deep of a hole to pull itself out.

I didn't know if he was gonna be able to get the other jeep going or not, so rather than wait an hour to find out, then drive an hour, I just decided to cut out the wait.

Seems a bit lame to let someone drive from granite falls to help for that, especially when you had another heep sitting around. ?
At the time I wasn't sure if I could get the other heep fixed and I wasn't sure if my xj would have pulled it out which it did but it took a lot more effort than it looks. The zj was sunk to the unibody and as far as john driving that far he was the only one to say for sure they could help that day.

I just gotta say it.

Time to leave the mall crawler at the mall.

Yeah the grand is going to be a pavement pounder for awhile. I still can't get over how it got stuck, considering the XJ went through the same path today and barely spun.
