I need a picture of the front rod that attaches the deck to the mower. I think the nut is loosened on mine and I'd like to get a ballpark of where it should be instead of "tight as shit".
Awesome. I didn't know that. After further inspection it looks like it's coming out for some repairs. One of the rear brackets is tearing out of the deck. Yay!!!Used to have a la145 if it’s same (looks like it is) that’s the adjustment to level the deck front to back, you tighten or loosen until level
I have a 145 if you still need a pic or two.I need a picture of the front rod that attaches the deck to the mower. I think the nut is loosened on mine and I'd like to get a ballpark of where it should be instead of "tight as shit".

Now starts the never ending cycle of fatigue and stress cracks. Overlay and or brace where it started from. Next year will just reveal the next weakest link. A few seasons in and you have built an anvil.
How much is the HOA gonna fine you for having uneven grass? The mansion can’t look like some meth head mowed it on a week long highSo I spent a little time reworking the deck. Drilled out all the ends of the cracks then welded them up. Welded both top and bottom of the deck. When I put the deck back in I soon realized it was waaaaaay off. Front to back was probably and inch or more. I guess the nut kept backing off and I just got used to it.
Got it back together and promptly scalped the front yard because I forgot to raise the deck back up Then I hit the side yard where I realized I evidently have a low tire and it was cutting on an angle. FML. I finally got it straightened out by the time I got to the back yard. I guess I'll just hope it rains and it can bush back out.
