Need help...LED tail light wiring

I did some trading for a 97 TJ with LED tail lights already installed. They are cut in, but not wired. The wires have been cut right were they come through the tub on the driverside rear fender. Which wires do what? Are there any other wires? How does the wiring get over to the passenger side tail light? The previous owner was getting ready to back half it so I guess he did not care about the wires being cut. Any help or pics would be great.

Probably need to get a volt meter and start tracing wires/signals. Maybe someone can hook you up with a wiring diagram. When you do get them hooked up you'll need to modify your flasher or get one that's compatible with LED's or they'll flash at double speed.

I believe this is correct. Use a test light/multimeter to double check these colors. I used Alldata and the wiring diagrams for it sucked. These are the body wiring colors BTW, which means that the colors are coming from the body harness.

violet/black = back up light
dark green/red = left turn/brake
brown/red = right turn/brake
black/yellow = parking lights

Do believe you're also going to have to modify the flasher relay for it to work correctly with the LED's.

He will on a TJ. Not enough resistance from the LED light and the TS circuit think a bulb is blown.

He'll need an electronic flasher available at any parts store. Do like I did and buy the cheapest one you can get and make some jumper wires for it to work for your app. Most all of the Aisan stuff has this allready installed from Japan.
