Friend's father has a 4 cyl 1991 Toyota pickup he wants to sell but, since I can barely spell Toyota, I have no idea what he should ask for it, so I came here to ask for NC4x4's input. I don't know a ton about this truck but here is what I do know:

1991 Toyota pickup
~240000 on the odometer
22RE
manual
4wd
Regular cab
New lift
New 35" BFG A/Ts

Recent engine rebuild with an unknown cam and heads trued. New water pump and timing chain. When the heads were trued, they put the standard head gasket on, so there is a little timing chain slap. New lift and tires were installed about 7 months ago and probably have less than 200 miles in them.

Body is rattle can camo and has some small dents. Axles were not regeared after the lift and bigger tires. Interior is a little rough but not horrible (steering column is missing the trim, couple door trim pieces missing, etc).

So, what do you guys think my friend's father should ask for it? I know without pictures and 100% accurate info it might be tough to give a true price but a ballpark estimate is fine.

It's pretty much worthless. I'll come haul it off for scrap metal.

1k - 1500 depending on pics and tires

Oh I'd say he was being serious. I took it as a scrap price offer

Gotcha. The father knows the scrap worth and isn't opposed to parting it out, then scraping the rest, so he had that figured out. He just doesn't want to go through that effort if it is worth selling as a running truck
