So i have an 05 wrangler unlimited currently on a 2.5 inch skyjacker lift with 32x11.50 BFG at's. I want to run 33x12.50's. i was planning on adding the 2 inch poly spacers giving 4.5 inches of lift, sway bar disconnect, and was wondering a few things. A: should i extend the brake lines b: what to do with the bumpstops c:any other suggestions. thanks

or should i run 35s bc it has the dana 44

tire size is your choose but if you plan to lift so you can flex yes extend the brakes it will help the bumper stops always helps leave them they aint hurting nothing and can you fit 35s in you fender with a 4 1/2 lift if so i would

I think you should run 44's because you have a Dana 44.

I actually think you should decide what your goals are and go from there. Are you trying to look sporty at the mall or are you trying to have a functional Jeep you can wheel reliably?
When you go to 4.5" of lift and 35" tires your Jeep requires a lot more work and money to be functional/safe and reliable.
I would take some time and figure out what you're trying to accomplish, then do some research, then start asking questions.

^^^^^What he said. Look in to high lining the fenders too.

i think those 44's would look great on my jeep at the mall, what a tool, get a life. the next time im trying to figure out how to be an asshole ill give you a shout. thanks to everyone else. The dana is obviously stronger thus handling the load of the 35 inch tire with less stress as this is my daily driver too. was looking more for a suggestion from someone driving around daily on 35s

The 44 is stronger than the Dana 35 and will handle 35's, depending what you are doing with the Jeep. I was being a smart ass but the facts are still the same, will you be doing any hard wheeling, is it a DD (you said yes), how important is good handling and ride comfort to you? You can certainly add 2.0 inches of additional spacers and run 35's but without proper control arm angles, steering link angles, caster, driveline angles, etc, you'll likely have an ill handling Jeep that you no longer enjoy driving on the road, not to mention it will probably not be safe to drive on the road.
So my point is, determine what you want to do with your Jeep, what size tires it will need to do what you want to do with it, then build it accordingly to make it safe, reliable and enjoyable to drive.
I went down this road a few years ago with my TJ on 35's and it took a lot of money to get it reliably on 35's.

Ease up man. He was clearly joking about the 44s. Answer his questions. What are your goals? You're going to want 4.56 or 4.88 gears. Yes on extended brake lines. If you aren't wheeling hard you won't need to worry about bumpstops. If youre planning on beating on it with a heavy 35 like a swamper youll want to put chromo shafts in both axles. Ive used East coast gear supply for years but there are several great vendors on NC4x4. If you ultimately want to go bigger, I would spend money on highline fenders now with 35s. No need to waste money on a cheap lift you'll end up taking off. Then get lockers shafts and gears. Then buy a clayton long arm kit. There's a lot of good people on this board, dont be a dick and you'll get all the help you need.

There is no way I would ever consider running a 2'' spacer and 2.5'' spring...

Why not just install a 1.25'' BL? Just as cheap and not as half assed.
