First time Jeep builder! Bought a fiberglass tub, fenders, and hood from a guy who said they were 76-83 Shell Valley. My frame is a 76 CJ5. Can I change up the gas fill location to the side or do I have to keep it in the rear? The gas filler neck is different for a 76 than a 77-83. Can I use a 77-83? Anyone know where I can get a list or template for all the cuts and holes I need to make to the body? I beleive all of the holes in the firewall are right. Do I need to make any cuts or drill any other holes in the body before I paint or is it mostly little stuff I should do after I paint? Paint the fiberglass windshield frame before I fit the glass? Thanks for your help!

Looks like your not getting much help, so I'll give you the best advice I can. I can't tell you much about a jeep, but I will tell you this. Considering the variables of your rig, I doubt anyone is going to be able to tell you exactly what to drill and cut.

You can figure it out and do it right. Treat it like a custom build. Do what you have to do, and completely build the jeep. Drive it, make sure everything is done. Then take it back apart, paint it. Put back together again.
