Have a leak at the leveling valve on my truck. I can't figure out how to remove the air lines. Anybody every see a push lock fitting like this?

If that's the type of push-to-connect fitting that I'm thinking of, it requires a removal tool that slides down into the fitting and releases the collet lock on the tubing. I can't easily see a collet release collar on it, so I'm assuming it's the type that needs the tube tool to release it. The type that needs a tool has the collet release collar hidden inside, which is what the tool depresses. Trying to find a picture to illustrate.

Kinda like this:

Maybe but I don't see any room between the line and the fitting.

I'm going to replace it with a valve that has a nut and ferrule but was trying to figure out how to remove these lines. Guess I'll just cut them off if I cant figure it out.

I think it is plastic not brass but I'll double check tomorrow.

Not a fan of the push fittings. When they wear out (and they do) you can pull the line out and cut it and reinsert it and hope it doesn't leak but usually does. With a compression fitting you can fix it on the side of the road a lot easier.

Every leaky line on a newer fire truck was a quick fitting with zip ties holding the lines up out of harms way. Litterally if you put them in any tension they leak after a period. Most leaked after a few years normal use. Old ferrel and compresion, hell you could hang an entire wiring harness from it.
