I've got a 2000 wrangler sahara with 4.0 and 32rh. about 140k miles
Been using it as my DD for 2 years now.
About this time last year it developed a problem
at times, it will cut off while idling. has never cut out while driving. IAC is new. CPS and Cam sensor are new. TPS was also replaced since this problem started.
When this happens, i shift to N, turn it off, and it'll fire right back up. no hiccups, runs smooth.
I've hooked a handheld code reader to it, and get no codes.
Hooked a snapon Solus scanner to it, and it gave a code for the A/C relay (which is pulled), and a code for the ASD relay, which I've checked, found was good, but switched with a known working relay for piece of mind.
Fuel pressure is right on spec. I've driven around with a gauge attached, and have right about 50 psi. And it holds it when the engine is off.

I'm wondering if i have an issue with the ECM,

I'm at a loss, and want to get this issue resolved so i can get this jeep ready to sell.

Jeep gurus, experienced techs please help!!

This one may be a bit of a challenge without some time and a bit of knowledge. What code numbers were found? My first place to go would be the ASD relay and verify any items that it powers are in fact getting power when the stall occurs. Typically I use a lab scope for this just to pickup any fast glitches a dvom may miss. If the asd circuit is in fact loosing voltage you'll need to troubleshoot the relay with a relay jumper - this will allow you to watch each pin with the relay in place. You'll back track until you find the missing element for relay function.
The key to this testing is that it must be done when the issue occurs and typically it's much easier with equipment that refreshes fairly quickly. It may be something else entirely - but you've got to start somewhere! Hopefully this helps!

Guy brought a grand Cherokee in with similar issues and no code's. It was a bit worse and would cut off driving. Though he stated it did start out like your. After tracing wiring and testing most everything I found it to be the ecm. I was at firewall with it running and put pressure on the bulkhead connector and it cut off. The board inside had a crack and would cause a intermediate problem. It was just by chance I found it with out some more hair pulling.

A couple models were known to do that because a screw would touch the board.

At this point, I really think it is the ecm. But without a spare to swap in I can't verify. That's about $100 guess.

$100.00 guess or a few hours of your time either way you look at it. Does your ecm have two screws in the middle of it?
