Wanted to c if anyone had a high pinion dana44 or what might be better to do to the front end of a 88 jeep cherakee. Because I got the 8.8 done to it just wanting to get some options for the front if i cant find a dana44. I am runnin 35s and want to do the front end so it will hold up to alittle abuse

If you want to do a HP44, there's always some for sale in the for sale section, but if you've already got a HP 30 in the front, it'll take some abuse with one piece cromoly shafts and 35's.

Solid TJ cromo shafts will take care of that, unless you mean the cast section on the tube where the actuator actually sits. The one piece shaft conversion is a popular upgrade for vacuum disco YJ and XJ axles.

so u can get a one piece shaft to do away wit the vacume fork in the front end c the newer fronts dont have that vacume junk.

That was tough to follow. Yes, you can do a one piece shaft to get rid of the vacuum actuator. No, the newer D30s don't have it. Sounds like you have some internet research to catch up on.

no kiddin i know they dont and i have searched just lookin to c what i should use and most people say go with the newer front end and chromoly it
