I have a 2013 4door JK I have been looking at 3/3.5 inch lift kits I've been looking at some that range from $300 to $600 but have seen them up to 1500. I'm just not sure what to get, are these cheaper ones worth getting? I'm going to be putting 35inch tires on the JK. can any one help me out, point me in the right direction for a lift kit?

First of all you do not need a 3.5 kit for 35,s for a JK. A 2.5 will do the job just fine, or flat flares with a one inch budget boost(spacers). When it comes to lifts you are for the most part going to get what you pay for. Stay away from rough country(just my opinioun) with much trail use or even long term on road they will fail, there is a reason why they are so cheap.

My highest suggestion is Rock Crawler, Give Carolina Metal Masters a call, they are right over in Denver nc close to you(704-213-4319)

http://www.nc4x4.com/forum/index.php?threads/tj-to-jk-the-medication-build.134760/ This will give you a good idea on things, I did 33,s first and then 35,s. I I only have about 2.5 lift with flat flares and I could probably squeeze in 37,s. I now wish I would have went straight to a 2.5 lift.

Whatever brand you choose do not cheap out, do it right one time the first time.

As the others have said 2.5" is the sweet spot for a JK on 35's. Go higher and then you need to start dealing with drive line and steering issues.

You can get into a Rock Krawler kit for around $500 and then build it up as you go.

I am running a TerraFlex 2.5" lift with their shocks on 35's MT/R's and I really like the stance.

The lift was around $700, and didn't require anything else except an exhaust spacer ($30)

But if you want 3.5" I say go for it man

We do a ton of the AEV 2.5" kits and the BDS 3" suspension lifts for 35's and they work great. The BDS kit is about $630 and rides/drives great with a lifetime warranty on all the parts.

Let me know if we can help you out. We keep both kits in stock.

I am a big fan of BDS lifts, although I haven't put one on a JK I have on several other vehicles and have been well pleased.
