79 CJ5. Staying SUA until I go wider on the axles.
2.5" BDS lift springs.

Anyways, front flexes decently.
Back, not so much, even with no shocks.

Shackles are factory length.

What can I do to get the back flexier?

Yeah

I thought the BDS springs were supposed to be pretty good. Maybe I'll go ahead and get that set of OME springs then.

Revolver shackles. I haven't really heard good things about them.

I was actually wondering about shackle length and angle.

What kind of clamps hold the BDS springs together? On my Skyjackers, they had the C-bracket style with a bolt. I removed the bolt, which I was thinking would let the leaves fan out more for more droop. I never tested before/after, but it seems OK.

I've been meaning to take my springs apart, cleaning/painting them up in hopes of getting a lilttle more. But I've been meaning to do a lot of things

They are "good"... just not necessarily at uber-flexing! :D

While they have an excellent warranty, from what I've seen, it takes a heavy rig (tons, 42"s, fully caged, bumpers, full skids, 8274, OBA + tanks, spares, & tools) to get them to flex on a CJ...

Well

Pulled the bottom leaf out of the pack. Flexed much better but sat down noticeably in the rear. Threw on some longer shackles. Seems good now. Much much flexier.
