Need Some advice on a 85 4runner

I'm going Sat. to pickup a 1985 4runner with 217,000 miles. It runs good no smoke and the frame is soild. The front fenders have rust and need to be replace or cut. It needs new carpet and tires. Its the Sr5 package 5 speed, fuel injected. Do you think its worth 1,000.00. I think so and wonder what everyone else thinks.....Thanks steven

Yes definetly worth it, but skip the new carpet and shoot some liner in it.Oh yeah, if you don't want it I'm sure a few others would be interested!

x2 - do yourself a favor and replace the timing chain and oil pump before you start on other mods.

Well got it last night for 900.00 dollars. It need's front axle seals and tuneup. Still has everything in it from the factory and real is in good shape besides some rust on front fenders and rear. I'll post pic's Tuseday and more details. Thanks for the advice, Steven
