Need some engineering input.

Picked these up.

28 or so foot span. 24 inches tall. First triangle leg is 24 (call it a half triangle). To the next 44. These are center to center. The braces are all 2 x 2 x .125 material. The top and bottom are 2 sq. .125 wall.

Built by a job shop. Welding is typical squirt gun. Doesn't scare me or wow me.

What kind of loads are realiatic?

Entirely not sure what I am going to do with them.

Looks like you could cut them in half and rework the ends a little and use them to build the shed roof down the side of your shop if you haven't done so yet.

Exactly. Can't figure out a clean way to do it.
Attaching it to the existing wall and the load placed on it has me stumped. I could just do post but I don't like the idea.

This is what is inside. Even the corners are not touching the wall sheet. The vertical load would be primarly on the panels.

I'd just use posts and run a header for the trusses to bolt to.

The way I do it in this situation is just put new posts in the ground on the outside. It's almost always easier and you don't have to worry about the existing structure. The problem is, what are you going to do about purlins, overhang,etc?

Almost better to try and use those as nice wide headers and buy trusses or weld something to them than to use them as the truss.

Yeah that wall is not meant to hold a load. No real choice other than posts outside. I thought we had already been over this in another thread
