Definitely a wheel bearing, and possibly the spindle is toast too. You will need:
Spindle
Inner bearing
Outer bearing
Inner bearing cup(race)
Outer bearing cup(race)
Some grease

Did you go muddin?
Did you recently buy it?
Did you neglict it?

Please delete the wetlands wheeling pics. They don't make us wheelers look too good.

The water you got in the bearing during your "adventures" is likely what caused the bearing failure.

Yep and the other side needs and inner axle seal. You might as well do both seals while you are there. Basically it's going to be like a total front axle rebuild, but should cost less than $100 unless your spindle is shot. Figure most of a day to do it.

And definitely change both inner seals while your in there... Why not with a vehicle that old? I just tore down and rebuilt my front Dana 44 because of a broken axle shaft. It got new seals and is worth the money in parts. Also, while disassembling my driver side hub I found metal shavings everywhere. It was the Warn body assembly rubbing a "spacer" in the locker component and creating the shavings so I replaced that... My guess is that if I continued to wheel on it, my wheel would look like yours. In tearing down your front axle you might find that other things need to some TLC too.. A little maintenance now will save a headache later... Have fun and don't forget the
