I got a 95 e150 that were lifting 6" and throwing some 33"-35"s under for right now.. Its stright cargo two windows in the front two in the back.. Were working on a custom bench and sub box in the back and the winch were making .. Were going to use it for wakeboard winching. Should i just use a lift from a 95 f150 kit? Also looking for a good deal on some tires and rims if anyone has anything need a 5x5.5 lug pattren

6.5 hp pressure washer engine and go cart clutch will pull you fast enough
.....awsome idea
my bro has a half built winch w/ spool but never got around to bolting a motor up.
you are gonna need 4wd to get near the lakes 2wd would be fine for riding in foutains etc.
check out bronco graveyard for the lift

swimming pools or anything with 3" of water......
That is the exact same frame as my bros but it has a 2" reciever to put in trailer hitch.
That video is lame he needs a rail and multiple pools or maybe a kicker to a rail, damn I wanna ride.
Hey crazy are you going to ride it on a wake skate or wake board?

hmmm.....How fast can the motor pull you?

20mph+ you can change the speed just like on a go cart with differet cog.
check out this video...

remember if you are building the winch into the back of the van your exhaust routing for the winch could be an issue. I vote reciver hitch or rear bumpermout and make it removable so you can take it to more remote locations.
Yeah we got the exhaust going under the van so its not a issue. And where doing both wakeskating and wakeboarding on it. We all ready got one now my buddy made up that slides in the hitch and pulls about 30mph but were we want to pull up open the doors turn the stero up and just do it.. with the girls in the back of the van.... haha ill try to get some pics up of what we got done so far. Its gonna be dirty..

How long of a winch cable do you need for this?
20 mph = ~30 feet per second! you'll go through 250' in only 8.3 seconds...

That's why you use 1000 feet of line.
The biggest advantage is the fuel economy. It's legal depending on where you set up the winch.
Here is some pics of some nice winches.

pulls about 30mph

thats way too fast for riding 18-22 is where you need to be.

I would put a fairlead in the rear doors so you can run the winch with the doors closed that way your more incognito and the engine will not be so loud when you are creeping around riding pools you shouldnt.

Let me know when you are gonna ride..... Ill throw in the $5 it takes to ride all day on a winch.

haha yeah.. we been going to places we shouldnt be already it kinda easy to find us with a winch in the hitch.. And we got a toque conveter on the one we got now so we can control how fast were pulling pretty easy. like the other guy posted be only have 800ft on the spool we got now. the one were making for the van is going to be 1200ft. Which the more cable you pull the lower is going to sit......so thats higher we have to make the van! ha

and yeah that $5 bucks is hell of alot better then having to pay for a $60k boat and $100 in fuel everytime you go out! Which we still have that! ha but more for partying

ah the cursed Hamburger Foot
I think he did that so he could have an excuse to only ride the wakeskate.....
