i have an 88 yj nuttered carterbbd 4.2 inline
just rebuilt the carb and got it timed right it finally doesnt shut off when i stop so now i can it.
my question is now when i take off or even when i sit at idle and stomp on the gas it will stall or lag before revving up it does it every time just wondering if the timing could be advanced to much or not enough (around 9 btdc at 1600rpm and around 1 btdc at 700(idle)) or if i need to adjust something in the carb to a diff setting i just went by the destructions that came with the rebuild kit.
