Need some new employees- Asheville area

I spoke with one of our customers (The guy owns 4 very successful restaurants), he is looking to hire a GM and said he had 30 confirmed interviews and 3 showed up. Im to the point of turning away work when my techs can't handle anymore. And I'll be damned if I want to spend 6 months training a guy for him to leave 1/2 way through.

See, that's the shit that I don't get. I know there have always been no shows for all kinds of stuff. But, it seems that no one cares about anything anymore. Especially of your time. Be it interviews, marketplace, craigslist, contractors........... All it takes is a message or a call saying you can't make it or you changed your mind. But nooooooo, that's too hard for people. Pisses me off

And you'd think someone interviewing for a GM position would be at least halfway responsible.

Update:. Said load is still waiting a truck. Scheduled to be delivered on weds, but they still can't find a truck. Not real confident it's going to happen. I am currently in the market for a sanitary tanker trailer :lol:.

I hear that everyday when we're trying to get lumber shipped.
I have a loaded flatbed staged in Dallas/Ft Worth but no tractor in front of it.
It's getting silly.

Hired four folks on Yesterday. Today one was two hours late. Another worked 1/2 hour and said he had to leave because his girlfriends mom may have covid........

Call me bro. I have a local trucking company starting up and making it happen for a lot of small one off deals.

I need a driver who will be there M-F, Can run a forklift and generally a decent dude or chick.
Johnson City would be fine, but it's 1.5 hours from there to my yard.
Doubtful someone will do that for what the job pays. Feel free to send them my way though.

Yeah I knew it was a bit of a drive but I figured I’d still ask. I’ll see what I can find you honky.
