I need to pick up two 45ft steel beams in Lenoir, and the longest trailer I have is 20ft. They are a little over 2000 pounds each, so less than 5k total load. I'd prefer a bumper pull, but will take what I can get. I'll bring it back in as good or better condition than I received it. I'll be pulling it with the truck in my sig, and am tagged to cover the weight. Give me a call or text if you can help, 704-678-4223.

Text sent. Aint like you haven't helped me out before.

agree with these two. Hope Matt finds a trailer

Glad you got it worked out. What you building?

Putting a loft in my building, and wanted to keep it clear floor with no posts. 34' span is hard to do with wood and 10' between beams, so I went a little overkill with steel. By my calcs it'll carry a 40,000lb distributed load or 20,000lb center point load and still have 2:1 safety factor :D

...I'm guessing someone gets to stamp that design?

Nah, I'm no PE. This is just redneck engineering. But I didn't spend 5 years getting a 4 year degree for nothing!

If you have to borrow a trailer you shouldnt be pulling one. You should buy your own on the no money down easy payments plan

In retrospect, never trust craigslist measurements. 45ft turned out to actually be 37ft.
