Need to know what i should do

define cheap?

the center diff lock mechanism is worth a grand to someone with a discoII. other than that i cant really think of anything worth parting out unless you plan to spend ALOT of time on discowebs classified section. Landrover is a niche market. if it were a jeep or yota or chevy i'd say scoop it up and part it out.

as far as next rig.......whats your wallet like?

LRs are never a good idea, no matter how cheap you think you're getting it. That price isn't a fluke, they are junk, and priced accordingly.

pick it for 100.00

Give it to me for doing the clutch in the Kia

Dude for $100... I'd def buy it and spend minimal on it, prep as a "I don't care WTF happens" vehicle for this year's URECross.
Afterwards yank that center diff and sell the rest for scrap.

If I could get any running vehicle right now for that cost that's exactly what I'd do

What do these look like? Is it a two door or four door?

the aluminum axles housings probably wont hold up in the 4x4cross. ever heard the phrase "dont scun the diff!!"

4 door. 2 door wasnt available in the US.

a d1 is a first gen discovery. not a defender (which is worth the money)

:nopics:

Yeah post some up. I thought you were talking about a D90. I got all excited....

get in touch with crown14 on here, he has some contacts in the rover community and could probably help you sell it.
