Need to rebuild my Holley. Pointers? Ideas?

I need to rebuild my Holley #8007 390cfm carb. Aside from getting the parts I need (rebuild kit 37-720, new diaphragm 135-2, and new float kit 116-4). The Holley tech I talked to recommended I step up to either a size 28 or 31 accelerator pump nozzle (121-131) for my 258.

Is there anything y'all would recommend I do while I have it apart?

There is a guy on ebay selling "Truck Avenger" kits, but the seller says the carb needs to have "press in vent tubes". Not sure if my carb has that, if anyone could tell me..

I have used that same kit with good results if you don't have press in vent tube you can trim the top of the cast tubes and drill them out while it apart and then seal the new tube in place with clear fingernail polish.

with me, so I think I'm going to just attempt to make my own vent tube later down the road.
