I figured somebody on here would know what's at the 40/321 interchange in Hickory. Is there a truck stop or Walmart or something? I need to tell somebody a good place to meet.

Hardees has enough room for trucks, theres a Hess Station, McDonalds, Exxon (I think its an Exxon).
Theres nothing right at the 321/I40 interchange, you have to drive a little down 321 to get to it.

Yeah, best bet would be to get off an exit or two east of 321.

yeah there is a Walmart and all kinds of other things a few exits East on I40 from 321.... and North of the interchange on 321 there are some things right on the road, as Macdaddy stated

Hwy 321 is Exit 123A & B off of 40. A good place to meet at that Exit would be taking 123B (321North) to the juncture with Hwy 70 (a few hundred feet north). Theres a Gateway Conference Center with a huge parking lot there.
Exit 126 has a Bob Evans right at the exit and a Lowes/WalMart/Sams just behind that.
Exit 125 is the busiest exit with lots of businesses/restaurants.

I've met at the Bob Evans at 126 before. Easy to find and get into. Good sausage gravy too.
