Needing 6 lug trailer wheels

I'm trying to revamp this crappy old trailer that I have. I've tried like crazy to find six lug trailer wheels at a brick and mortar establishment, but to no avail. Are they a thing of the past? Am I stuck buying online? Should I junk the whole thing and just buy a trailer?

Tractor supply? Dey expensive tho. Agri Supply in Garner had a pile of them the other day too.

If you get towards Sanford, check with Lee Equipment Sales. Bruce 919-777-0939. Lots of trailer parts -- common and not-so-common, and farm implements. Cash is king.

The local (to me anyway) Rural King had em.Why not some junkyard steelies??

Discount tire usually has one or two cheap steelies in stock, and can usually get more next day.

Colfax trailer should have plenty of them. Last time I bought 2 spare trailer tires they actually had a couple lightly used wheels for 1/2 price of new.

Northern tool and tsc around me stock em

also if you just need rims I may have a few laying around without tires

This is what I'm working with. I need it longer, may end up doing a deck over style with wheel wells in the floor to gain some width. The runners are getting removed completely and junked if anyone is interested for a atv/motor cycle trailer.

The tires are definitely car tires. I have a trusted tire supplier for the tires, so wheels are really my only need, just want true trailer wheels or something better than what I've got. No/less dish, and correct width.

Aight let me get over to yhe farm this weekend and check...

I kept getting g may pop tires and at one point you could order the usa carlisle and rkims from Amazon cheaper than tires locally so I did that for a few....I think I just tossed the extra rims behind the shed

Not sure how far away you are but the price would be right

Much like everything in my life, this project was put on hold. Changed careers, spent too much money (read: DEBT) on vacations, worked as much overtime as I could while I could, and I'm no further ahead than I was to start off with.

However, now I have a truck I need to pick up soon, and would like to know if anyone has 4 cheap 16" steel wheels that are 6x5.5 lug pattern. I've got some load D tires from my explorer that I'll mount to them to use, but the name of the game currently is cheap and quick. Don't have to be trailer wheels, truck wheels are just fine.

I'm thinking I'll end up going 5 lug hubs as i have a pile of 5x4.5 wheels, so I don't want to spend hundreds on new six lug wheels, that will just lay around. Wife's explorer also just popped a P0420, so my "hundreds" will be paying for a new cat, so again, cheap is the name of the game currently.
