I have a set of pots given to me by my dad nearly 30 years ago. They are aluminum pots with wooden handles. The wood is worn and well all three pots basically have a "wirlygig" action going on. I would like to get some handles made from aluminum, with maybe some type of griping handle pattern. They would need a hole drilled through the center to run the attaching bolt through. If you can make something like this, please get in touch with me and we can go over in more detail.
TIA Chip

The alum. handle will conduct the heat & you will need a mitten to pick up the pot. Hence why the wood handles were used.

That being said, I know a machine shop in lincolnton that can do it. I will get you a number today at work.

I can deal with that. Wouldn't be any different than a cast iron pot. Better than it rocking back and forth in my hand and taking two hands to pour something out from the pots.

Stop by my house sometime, I've got plenty of Al round stock, a good sized lathe and a few different knurlers if that's what you want.
