A couple of weeks ago I posted this in the sucks thread:

Had a letter in the mailbox today from the postmaster. Seems a local road (Plank probably) flooded, and the mail lady drove thru it the other day. Well, halfway thru. Letter said that the mail in her car was totally submerged.
BUT, the letter did not say what would happen to the mail....if/when it was recovered....will they dry it out and deliver, or just destroy because it's contaminated with flood water, or what???

Well, today, a half dried, damp outside, soggy and molded inside, package showed up. Dried mud all over the outside. Some piece of clothing my wife ordered.

Now we know.

Pics to follow....

Our po is going downhill. Lost a package last week.

I've had 4 packages in the last 3 weeks that made it to Greensboro (last stop before Sanford), then put on a truck to nowhere, then eventually make it back to Greensboro, then Sanford. One last week went to Plainfield, IN, then back. Near end of shift, I think they just throw packages on the nearest truck to get them out of there.
