Nervous newbie?

Just stumbled across this board yesterday and wanted to say hey to all of you.

I'm sure I'll be balck-balled due to my choice of vehicle, but I figured I'd tell the truth...


...I just bought a 1995 4.0SE Rover a month or so ago. Pretty damn stock for now, but things will develop as money frees up.

To save face, I USED to have a 1966 International Scout, 33s, Dana44 rear, 4in lift, custom cage, etc.

You'll find folks don't care about what your ride, just as long as you don't haul off and say it's Gods gift to offroad. Everyone does their own thing around here, and has their own needs. You'll have limitations others do not, and advantages that others do not. It's a nice starting point, and you don't need to modify it to learn to drive it.
