A buddy of mine said he saw a new shop up that way. Had a big 4 seat buggy up on a lift but he didn't catch their name. Anybody heard of the place or know anything about it?

Sent from the MarsFab Off Road mobile response unit.

do you know the road it was off of & or what it was close to
i am up that way all the time & i have not seen one

Well, if it's a new shop and nary a post on here. That says something.......

I haven't heard of or seen any new shops in the area. Could it have been a "normal" shop working on a buggy?

Possibly but my buddy who saw it is a Cornelius police officer who's into 4wd's so I'm assuming he'd know the difference but it's definitely possible.

I work in Cornelius with another member on this board....we haven't seen/heard of this yet? I will keep my eyes out.

I haven't seen/ heard anything about one and I've been doing quite a bit of searching to prepare for my business/shop opening soon in Mooresville (Not quite in the same market as any vendors on here in the area). Doesn't mean it isn't there though. I'll be riding through there tomorrow so I will keep my eyes open.

Since we're having all this Lake Norman talk, we have a group that gets together, wheels, works on rigs and generally has a good time.

We'lll be getting togteher next Tuesday night at El Cerro in Mooresville at 7pm. Come check it out. All are welcome.

I apologize for the hijack.

I might have found the place while I was out today. The closest address I could find was
18831 Statesville Road, Cornelius, NC 28031 according to Google. It's off the road a little bit, so it's kinda easy to miss.

Not at all. Just interested in the fact that no one has mentioned/heard of the place. It's always good to know who your up against. That's just business.

Depends on how many shocks that green yota has. If the answer is "greater than 8"...you should be worried.

HA! Idk I don't see any fender trimming, just some tall leaf springs and blocks... That's going to be one hell of a rough race! No sign of a bajillion shocks on the rear atleast.

And GotLime: I may ride over there with Steve (SPC) next Tuesday and check it out.

That looks like it might be where there the used to be a "High Performance" shop. Been a few years, but I visited one in that area, shopping for a programmer. They had high performance goodies, chrome wheels, & some bling!

It kinda does look like that place. I bought a few things from them for my old dodge as they had really good prices like better than mail order on somethings. I know my neighbor has a buddy up in that area Diezel's or something along those lines. He says he has some lifted Jeeps and whatnot. I wonder if it is the same place.

HAHAHA Chris why you hating man!?????LOL!!

They are indeed in the building that "Extreme performance" used to be. ( pretty sure that was the name of it)
Couldn't see much and didn't have time to stop.

This is the four seater buggy you guys have been discussing.. it was built right here in Performance Offroad of Cornelius. We welcome you guys to come by and take a look at it, although it is being powdercoated right at the moment. There are a lot more pics in the build thread in the link below. Performance Offroad is new to the Cornelius area, only open for a few weeks now. We stuck the Toyota out front for attention, and it looks like it worked. We are in the building Extreme Performance was once in, so feel free to come by and check us out!
