New Bern area people, have some questions about the area and job market

Looking into moving into the New Bern area, Arapahoe specifically and have a couple of questions for locals.
Will be looking for a job, just curious if anyone knows of anyone in the area that is hiring for dump trucks, or any straight truck jobs requiring class B? Possibly any other jobs in the trucking or construction industry? Or any info on where there are some dump truck companies local I could just ride by and talk to?

Also are there any off road or diesel performance shops in the area? Are there any legal off road spots in the area? Just trying to get a handle on whether there is anything going on around there. May finally be able to realize my dream of ocean/river front property and dont want to pass it up. Thanks.

I'd think there are plenty of opportunities for a driver out there. There are logging operations, Sand pits, Cherry point isnt far from there, and Open Grounds farm is about an hour from new bern there are lots of other farms that would need stuff hauled.

Cherry point is about a 30 min drive from bayboro.

Weyerhaeuser isnt far from new bern either.

Craven County Wood Energy is there and they partner with a lot of local truckers to haul wood waste to their facility on a regular basis as well.

I'd think there is some decent work for a driver out there.

No legal wheeling here.

One diesel shop I know is coastal diesel but I don't think they really mess with high performance stuff. Sometimes there's events in jacksonville at the drag strip which is an hour away.
