new build: 81 toyota

thought id give an update, as im getting close to the end of the project.
This has been the first time since the beg. of september that ive been home. Today i was able to get the mounts for the bed done, cut the hole for the rear shock hoop, and most importantly was able to roll it inside the garage.
Things left to do:
Finish the exhaust
hook up front brake lines
paint the bed, sliders, and cage
install the cb
make a new center cover inside
driveshafts done
hook the radiator back up
weld rear shock mounts on the axle
and some smaller wiring stuff

this weekend i hope to get the exhaust done, paint everything and get the radiator back in.

its 28" to the flat belly skid
 
build up looks good but and i think im the only one to mention this but what part of that truck is an 81 the title? cause that looks like an 84 or 85 to me. and you're stealing my color scheme on my exact truck which incedently you could have just bought and saved alot of time and money.

yeah.. ive kicked myself alot for not waiting till the end of the summer and buying something like yours, it wouldve saved me TONS of money. The frame and the front axle are the only parts from a '81

Hey man that thing has change alot since the last time I saw it, I was wondering if you still had it. I havent seen it in a wile when I do that route. (I'm the UPS driver that brought you your leaf springs and stuff that day.) Look really good thou.
