So, I picked up my new bumper for my new (to me) 2001 TJ, and I've pulled the old one off.
The new bumper bolts in from the inside of the frame which poses a problem with one set of bolts and backer plates because of the gas tank. I would go with just three sets, but I plan on pulling my M416 for camping, and would rather not cut any corners on the mount points.
Looks like I need to drop the tank to get access to install those bolts. How big of a deal will this be, and do I really want to do this myself?
Thanks,
Alan
