I also am picking up a rolling cj7 chasis next weekend and am going to swap in the axles out of it so I will have disc brakes in the front think im going to run a 33 or 35 not sure yet. Just building a Ure rig dont have the time or money to go to the hard core trails and ure is 30 min away. Will post more pics as I go.

I might have a hood and fenders that are in a lot better shape than those if you're interested.

they are soild just some light rust so not going to replase them right now but thanks

wooohooo! another cj5 good luck with the build. btw 33s may fit stock with bump stops left in place, mine rub a little at full flex, if can call it flex, with the bump stops off

Got the oil pump, oil pan, cam, timing gears chain and cover and few other parts installed tonight so hope by the weekend to have the engine in and maybe after I pick up the new axles sunday get them under it too

You gonna paint the head and valve cover? Sure did take me a long time to clean that block and get it so purty. I didn't get a new front main seal, you might need one. Ready to see some pics!!!!

picked up a rolling cj7 rolling chassis toda for the axles has a disc brake 30 and amc20 but am going to swap them in thinking about doing a spring over also when they go in to get a little more room for the 33's.
ran into a snag with the trans swap have to find a dana 300 case but got that covered gong to Fayetteville near the end of the week to pick up a Twin stick 300:beer::huggy:

got thet rear axle swaped in with the soa and like the look the belly is about 19" still have to get the front in but its coming together

its going but have a few other things to get. Going to replace the brake lines and hoses, got another fuel tank to swap in still have to pick up the t case and thinking about getting a clocking ring to rotate the case to have a flat belly pan on it too. Got to do something about a cage maybe build some bumpers etc the more I work on it the more I add to the list but I want to have it built enough to go out and have fun and not have to worry about breaking everything.

here are some pics with the rear soa and the front is still sua and is sitting high because there is no drive line in it right now not sure if I want to keep the 33s or go with 35s now what do yall think?
