Ok so long story on how this came to be....... My wife had been driving my old XJ daily after deciding she liked it better her previous vehicle. Then she had knee surgery and had a hard time getting in and out of the XJ. We traded the lifted XJ for a super clean stock 97. She still was having a hard time with getting in and out due to the small door openings of a cherokee and the way she had to twist her leg getting in and out. So I bought her a new car and ended up with the cherokee. I drove it stock for a couple of weeks and couldn't stand pulling up next to buick's and chevy's that were taller than my jeep. So after selling my race jeep and collecting some parts I called Chris at MarsFab about building some long arms for it. He said it was good timing as the shop was slow and he was thinking about designing a kit for the XJ/MJ for long arms. So I went on up to the shop and we got started.
Here it is stock pulling in to the shop.
Here are the new wheels and tires, and leaf springs.
Here are the heims and joints from Barnes for the links and steering.
