Ok so long story on how this came to be....... My wife had been driving my old XJ daily after deciding she liked it better her previous vehicle. Then she had knee surgery and had a hard time getting in and out of the XJ. We traded the lifted XJ for a super clean stock 97. She still was having a hard time with getting in and out due to the small door openings of a cherokee and the way she had to twist her leg getting in and out. So I bought her a new car and ended up with the cherokee. I drove it stock for a couple of weeks and couldn't stand pulling up next to buick's and chevy's that were taller than my jeep. So after selling my race jeep and collecting some parts I called Chris at MarsFab about building some long arms for it. He said it was good timing as the shop was slow and he was thinking about designing a kit for the XJ/MJ for long arms. So I went on up to the shop and we got started.

Here it is stock pulling in to the shop.

Chris got started today building the cross member for the links to mount to. Here are couple of pics of the progress.

Lookin' great! I love seeing Chris designing link setups. That means I won't have an excuse to use leaf springs on my next build. :D

Today's update.....cross member is finished and bolted in place. Lower links are built. Upper link is almost done. Rear leaf springs and shocks installed. Here are a couple of pics of today's progress.

Would really like to see this long arm system. I have been itching for a 3 link baddddd. It would be great if he could sell them in the future

Edit: Just saw he will sell them. Adding that to the upgrades list!

Its almost done. Here are couple of pics from today.

Sooo clean! Love that long arm kit! IF I had and XJ I'd have one of those!

Chad I'm pretty sure you know a guy who sells and builds a long arm kit like that. Buy a Cherokee and get one.

Ok so I have been driving this jeep every day and all I can say is WOW. It drives perfect and rides great. No bump steer and no weird handling quirks. Drives better than it did stock.
