I got the engine back from the machine shop. I took it to THoff's. He did a fantastic job in a very short period of time. All the other race shops wanted at least 2 weeks to do the work, he did it in about 6 days. Im very happy with his work.

Now, I just got to finish getting together and in the buggy.

Not knowing squandool amout AMC engines, what's the gear on the nose of the cam for... dizzy?

nah its a 360 stroked out. The color is mustang blue, the machinist said if I used a color he had in stock he wouldnt charge me to paint it, so it was either ford blue or chevy orange....so blue it was.

I have no idea how to even get ahold of amc's color. What color is that? Isnt amc's some kind of teal?
 
Shame, Shame . Running the incorrect color is a 25HP penalty. LOL
eastwood and American Performance both carry "AMC blue"
 
at least you kept the color in the country of origin... my trooper is rockin chrysler red on the block :flipoff2:
