First post on here, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Adam, I'm a technician at Crossroads Ford in Cary. Just picked up my first project 4x4 truck. 1990 Ranger that I was told had a broken timing chain. Pulled the drivetrain to reseal it and fix it and found it had a broken flex plate instead. I am currently in the process of getting it all cleaned up and put back together. Looking forward to learning what I can from the site.

Thanks for looking!

Welcome!
There are a lot of good dudes here and a few assholes like me, too!

In case you'd ever want to go long arms a Dana 30 and an iron rock off-road long arm kit work with very little fab work. We did it to a bronco 2. And a 4.0 out of an explorer will fit very nice

I haven't decided what I want to do with the SAS. I have acquired a JK Dana 30 front with a bent inner C, but I also have a Ford 10.5 rear with e-locker, but it has a bent tube. Id really like to find a JK Dana 44, but that is going to be $$$$$$

And luckily, truck came with the 4.0, must have been one of the first ones
