New half doors

Those look nice! Mind me asking what you paid to have them done? Wanting to have doors done for my 89 Toy P/U
 
So, why dosn't anybody keep the upper frame where it goes up and over the window?
I'm planning to make some later this year, but want that so that I can make some snap-in vynil "window" for driving on crappy weather days.
 
I almost kept them, but decided to do away with them, saw a set just like mine on Pirate that kept the frame. I still have full doors also so I use them in winter or whatever, but If I get caught in rain with the half doors, I guess I will just get wet, I would worry more with my truck about the top being off in bad weather, cause of the compressor and stuff. Anyway I went out with them for a little while the other day and it makes being able to watch your line alot better and easier.

sounds like what you need is a bikini top...
but yeah, those back seats take a long time to dry out if they get saturated. BTDT. Unf the back of these things weren't really "designed" for being out in the elemnts like Jeeps etc.
 
Yeah, no doubt I keep the back seats folded down for the most part, (I got 2 boxer dogs that go with me most of the time, that gives them more room) I have been lucky so far with getting caught out in the weather, have got it pretty wet though getting in to deep of water and it come rolling in.

I've also seen this done. Michael did that to his doors when he had the Tacoma. Very nice to have if your truck sits outside like mine does.
