This backhoe is a 99 model with 4cyl. 5 liter diesel. I have had to remove the fuel line at the injection pump inlet a few times to re-prime it. I noticed the fuel line fitting has a rubber type seal that is under the fitting. It is worn and needs replacing and might be where I'm loosing prime. It's a basic 1/4" flared fuel line and seal is about 1/2" thick x 1/2" diameter with 1'4" center hole.
Can't find any info online or anyone who knows about injection line seals...

Anyone?

Call a new holland dealer. You can at least find out whats going on. Call MidSouth Tractor in Salisbury and you should get Tammy or Brad. They are great. Tell em Tabb told you to call them

Yeah, thanks. I know where the nearest dealer is and how to call them but they don't like to give part numbers out to people. They know people will then find a cheap replacement via a cross reference list and their part #....

*Also, I needed a rebuild kit for my swing and lift cylinders last week. New holland dealer was 340 + tax. I bought the same kits online for 80.00 shipped to my door in 3 days.

Was hoping for a local shop that had a knowledge and or supply of what I thought would be a common wearable part without the high price and long drive.

***I just got back from New holland dealer in newton with the seal after 1.5 hrs of driving:)

10 4. Just for future reference Brad and Tammy dont mind giving out part numbers. They know that generally when i call or show up im just getting numbers

thanks again. i'll call them next time as they sound like nice folks and a good resource.
