New laptop wep page security certificate problems

Pretty new laptop. Dell e7470 supposedly had the motherboard replaced. Every time I try to open a web page is says the security certificate is not valid. Can't even get on a page in firefox, can't DL chrome or much of anything else. Can't run any windows updates.

Tried uninstalling, reinstalling drivers. Did fresh install of windows 7, same problems. Same issue wired or wireless connection.

Any ideas before I send it back?
 
Sounds stupid, but I've seen it too many times not to say to check it....verify the time and date. So far out of sync, certificate won't validate.

That fixed it. Every time I've ever loaded win 7 before, it set the time/date at least close. Never would have thought of that. Thanks.
