What are your thoughts? Love the old show. Cant recall how many times have watched it, but alot. Been watching this new show version throughout the week (well in the background during work, anyways).

I dont think the acting is all that great, and kinda subpar for a CBS show but like how they kept with the original premise, and the hacks have all been pretty on point.
 
I used to love macgyver. Then I found out he was canadian. Ugh. That feeling when your heroes let you down.

There are piles of scripts for shows and movies that are waiting for financiers or a studio. In film, most of the majority stake in studios are owned by Chinese holding companies. They don't give a flying fuck about what a movie does here in the states. The money is overseas. Which is why they continue to pump out comic book and imaginary land stuff and FasTenFurious: Buckle Up. Same goes for TV. There is a lot of original ideas floating around but financiers and producers are afraid to get attached to anything remotely edgy due to the uber left that controls Hollywood.

And what kind of show would be too edgy for the left??? One where unknown folks live together in a house and have sex w each other,or one where a guy changes himself in to a woman,or one where people shoot up drugs on TV,or the one where gay couples want to get married and have children???
