It's this week but I wouldn't expect to see a whole lot of faces there. I think most of us will be heading out to the farm event in Lincolnton. If the weather is bad this weekend I may still come to the meet at BWW and go out to the farm Saturday morning.

So will you guys be meeting next month? Ive been away from the board for months and completley forgot about this. I still remember when we used to have meets out at UNCC.

Alright here's the deal.
There weren't but a few of us last week.
Damien his crew and Don and Darlene and me and Becky.
Sorry I came out late but she got caught in traffic.

Now, do we want to go to once a month and move the time back a half hour? Thing is my ass is hungry I know Don said he eats earlier than 730-8.... but to make sure everyone might show up, wanna move it back and make it once a month during wheelin season?

Also I don't want to go too late because its not good to keep youngins out at the restaurant til 930-10. One more reason to not move it back too far. I always wanted to keep it family friendly and not have it become like a bar thang - which it aint.
patio is nice this time a year so whaddaya say fellas?
 
Once a month is fine. Twice a month is nice in the winter/off season though. I haven't been able to make them lately, but I do plan on making the next one. I get off at 6 and can stop by on the way home so 7/7:30 works for me.

You gon'na settle in on the 1st or 3rd during the summer?
 
I say you leave it the way it is and that way you have a choice if you cant make one you make the other, with me its been the 2nd and 4th fridays and a sat. occasionally just been out of town working a lot.
 
Okay well I was thinking once a month because keeping it a dedicated more spread out date would get more people out every time we have one.
Now its like "well I guess I'll show up next time"....
yeah hell I don't mind seeing your ugly face Joe every time I eat at BWW but I'd like to have a crowd there ya know what I mean? I think with all the activity goin on during the summer, beach, vacations, wheelin trips, club stuff.... that money is thin and people get outa dodge on Friday after work and don't have the time/money to stop in twice a month.

Tell you right now, I'm not coming over tonight. If I do it'll be a pitstop. I talked to Damien last friday and Don agrees too.... be nice to get people out twice a month but one was fine. So let me hear some more...

I agree with the above statement;
I know I'm not at everyone but try to make at least 1 a month or so. My issue is I work at the Charlotte Airport and get stuck in friday traffic so when I do make it on time it's because they let me off work early, it's easier for me to get one friday off a month early versus 2 a month. Sometimes I can't leave early at all due to mechanicals.
I vote the 1st friday of every month, easier to remember for me.
Plus you have a lot of splinter groups, we all just need to gang up in one spot, we'll end up with better benifits from the restaurant. Lorenzo's done a good job and got us a good deal at the BWW with the free apps and such.
You got the toy guys, the jeep guys (probably 3 different little groups there, jeep meetups?), 1 izuzu guy, chevy/ford/dodge, rockcrawlers, mud guys, club guys. This isn't a club specific meeting here people. Get some of Ricky's pulling guys in?
 
Well Don did show up after all and we're settling on First Friday and its up to whomever shows up.
We're all friends that seem to be the core group of wheelers that come out.
We did get some new peeps over time and they have become friends too.
I think a few things have happened...
Food is getting old - the place to some is repetitive.
And the apathy that well, "hey I'll just go next time" thinking.
No big deal. Plus weather is nice there are plenty of concerts, beaches and wheelin to do now that it is summer time.
Chris and I talked about it and so did Don, You guys want to take a Hiatus or just stick to First Friday?

Sup to you guys.
If we take a hiatus, I'll go find another spot towards the fall, kid friendly and hopefully has a patio. Might go for something not 'chain' so we get the 'family' style service... know what I mean....
