Hey I have been into rock n roll ,rockabilly music since the early 2000 when I started listening to the Jerry lee Lewis,Elvis, and other rockabilly bands that were around. this laid the foundations for me to listen to more original artists from people like Eddie Cochran to bands that I listen to today including : Roy Orbison,Johnny cash the list goes on because there are so many good bands around at the moment.Love my family, also love music but not mainstream it has to be rockabilly ,Blues ,or 90's.interested in all things from the 1950s.Favorite musicians are Jerry lee,Elvis, Eddie Cochran or anyone that makes me crank up the volume

welcome to the area Bob. If you still want to ride sometime let me know. I'd love to see the old rig in action. I live about 20 minutes from Asheville.

Hey

I'm Mitchell, and I live in Reidsville. Just wanted to introduce myself and as for some help. I'm kind of new to the 4 wheeling scene. I just bought a 1985 Chevrolet K10 truck. It has an 3" body lift and is sitting on agricultural tires. I have a few ?'s that maybe someone could answer. With the body lift, could I fit 35's on the truck? About how much would a 4"-6" suspension lift cost, and could i just get some leaf springs to lift it up? What is the difference between a body lift and suspension lift, and which is better. I know i have alot of questions, but please bare w/ me, lol.

Subframe connectors, cool. Did you buy them as a kit somewhere or did ya just fab them up? I'm sure they add a lot to the strength and rigidity of the truck. Looks like you're headed in all the right directions. With a few modifications those jeeps are extremely capable. My Blazer on the other hand would need a complete suspension transplant to be nearly as capable or reliable.

One of my friends did his before me and fabbed his up, said it was cheaper but a huge pain and took alot of time. I bought TnTs and they fit like a glove. Got a decent deal on them to from a vendor I know.

What's up? I'm Justin. I live in Franklin, NC. I recently purchased my first real truck. A '72 Jeep J2000. Looking for some folks to wheel and work with when I get this thing ready. Working on the brake system now. Had to replace everything and now I just need to get it bled properly, get tires, replace some electricals, ball joints, and everything else needed to get it ready to roll. A lot of work, but a lot of fun )
