Hey gang. Just joined and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Steve in Indian Trail, NC. I've had several 4x4's over the years.......an '81 Chevy Blazer K-5, '79 Dodge Ramcharger...and more recently......a few Jeep CJ's.
Well....I was Jeep-less for the last few years and was looking for a new "toy". I found a '97 Jeep TJ that lost an argument with a tree and bought it for a song.
So........as I spend the next few months wrenching on my junk out in the driveway, I thought I'd hang out here a bit and find some local wheel'ers. :driver:

The guy slid sideways into a tree. Pushed the driver's side front corner of the tub in about 4". Windshield frame was slightly twisted (bent tub twisted the w/s frame). Mechanicly she's sound, and the frame itself appears to have been spared any damage.
So......I'm going to start disassembling the tub this week and try to "tweak" it back into shape (doesn't have to be perfect....it's a Jeep, afterall! LOL). However.....if I can find a decent used tub for a good price, I just might say the hell with it and do a tub swap.
 
Aw, just slap a set of tons under it & forgetaboutit
