We are looking to hire very hard-working individuals especially honorably discharged Veterans to work in our N.C. warehouse. The job consists of 100% manual labor help make, mix, and pack the Solutions (some of the finished Solutions weigh an average of 70lbs and the guys in the warehouse have to be able to lift and stack pallets of the buckets). We need someone younger (in their 20-40?) to help with the bulk of manual work. They have to be available at least 25-30 hours a week minimum. Eden is 100% a team effort. We are looking for someone who is honest and can take direction and work efficiently, be consistent and reliable with this job, be able to think on their feet, be able to offer intelligent constructive feedback, and work together with our team members. Having a 'handy' background or general jack of all trade, construction, or mechanical, etc., type knowledge is a huge plus.

Eden is a family owned and operated business, with strong biblical values exercised in all corners of the work place. If you know of anyone who fits these descriptions, have them reach out to Nick: 877-732-5360 Ext 105.

Eden is a company who makes both Commerical and Retail Agriculture Solutions - www.edenbluegold.com

17 to 25$ an hour, 1099 work. Depends on experience and job performance in the first three month period.

That doesn't sound like 1099 work. You might want to check on that before you get in trouble for misclassifying employees as contractors.

Thanks for your concern. We are well aware of the various classifications, and all 1099 workers are classified correctly and all applicable aspects apply accordingly to all such workers.

Just to be clear - is military service + honorable discharge a requirement for hiring?

Also - "hire" and "contractor" do not go together.

While we are kicking you around...

I am 55 and can do the work. Will you hire me for the job?

Just say no....I got Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe on hold.
Similarly, I'm wondering how many young 20-somethings he'll find with honorable discharge. o_O

Has no one here heard of a temp to perm arrangement? He even mentions a three month period. Guy is trying to throw out a bone to his local trusted forum, and instead he found a bunch of HR experts and IRS auditors.
Absolutely, we do it here. And our ads clearly state that, as well as what is and is not a requirement of the contract.
Because... lawyers.

I really hope Eden finds good help, and I'm happy to assist any vet in finding employment, as I'm sure we all are.

I'd also suggest this should be in the Job Hookups Thread.

Not limited to Vets. Hustlers, quick learners, and those who take initiative are always highly sought after by any business interested in efficiency

We try to help as many Vets, single parents who need to bring kids to work, and disabled young adults with jobs as often as we can.

One of our forerunning projects is setting up a satellite building in Aville that will be for disabled young adults (and older too) to be able to have a static job doing various tasks.

@jeepinmatt yeah it is unfortunate when people want to kick the tire over two or three word choices on a forum post (a non professional setting) and naysay on a situation in which they have less than 1% of the facts. Anyways
