New ohv park in NC

I’ve heard about it. Bout 7 miles of trails, pretty fun if you’re on 33s from my understanding. I was told URE is actually more challenging, but no first hand experience.

You sure that acreage/price is right? That's $83,000 an acre. Unless they have an active and producing gold mine it'll be for sale for a very very long time at that price.

The entrance is dead across the street from the Valle Crucis Mast General Store. You never know what it might sale for in that area.

It's not worth that much, but if it was mine i would ask that much for it too. Especially with the wine and cheese crowd roaming around there.

Check out some of the YouTube videos.

pretty tame

Not to derail too far...but even my podunk little area has been growing like concord of 20 years ago. I’m working on a deal right now with a big box store type conglomerate to sell them about 2 city blocks worth of property...for $92k/ac. No views or anything...just happens to be on a Main Street that’s been getting developed the last couple years. I’m Donating the house that’s on the property and the recipient is paying $30-40k to have it moved...and everyone is happy. So I wouldn’t suspect an average Joe would buy the park, but maybe a resort wants in or a Strip mall or Walmart or someone like that would certainly pay $100k/ac...$2.5mil is a rounding error for them.

A developer could purchase the 30 acres for $2.5mil, build five $700,000 homes each on a 5 acre lot, with 5 acres left for a nice common area and infrastructure, and sell them for $1.5mil apiece, theoretically.

Very possible.

I would love to see what would happen if Walmart tried to build a store in valley cruise!
People have raised hell about them building the new elementary school a mile down the road from the old one.

I heard he's moving to Richland road.
