Just picked up a old but new to me 04 f250 harley 4x4 to pull the jeep. Its got the 6.0l but never had a tuner and less than 100k. Already is straight piped but stock air box, any suggestions on aftermarket cold air kits?

afe stage 3 cold air intake i put one on my 06 f 350 and it actually made a pretty big difference. gave me 2-3 mpgs more and a little more power really easy to install as well. I think it took me about 20 mins

I put an S and B on my dodge. I like it alot.

please read: http://www.bulletproofdiesel.com/ 6.0 powerstroke is possibly the best powerstroke made BUT it has a couple of issues that need to be fixed to make it bullet proof, egr cooler and oil cooler..

X2 stock intake is good for 450-500 HP. Only reason I would suggest one is ease of access to the filter because the factory unit is a PITA.

X2 stock filter is a pita to take out and put back in

ive got an afe stage 3 i can hear the turbo more but not sure about milaege or hp, intake elbows really help these trucks after you do the other basic mods (chip, exhuast, intake)

good looking truck. dont mean to hi jack your thread. but thought maybe it would help both of us out. i have an 06 i bought new. at 7500 i took my truck in the ford shop and it came back out with less power and a loss in fuel mileage. about 5 mpg. they kept telling me there was nothing they could do. my truck was normal. any way my warranty is now expired and I want this thing back to running good with decent mileage. whats the best route?

Yea, when i called back the first time they denied it though. said they just changed a belt

All that lift for just 37s?? Come on Joe! Lol! Looks good man, now u just need to do and engine swap to a cummins so you can turn those tires :)))

Thats a good looking truck!
never had a tuner
Already is straight piped
I chuckled. Maybe you are right. Obviously it has not been beat/abused/raced, which is more important anyway. But I gotta figure someone who would go to the trouble to straight pipe it would certainly spend a couple hundred bucks and get a tuner too, and then try to recoup that couple hundred bucks by selling the tuner when they sold the truck.
