I'm new to the four wheel drive stuff but I'm very inclined to learn and $X$ with this one... First things first... The engine...350 fuel injected , 700r4 Tranny. Factory tow package and dual shock front suspension...One head and intake are removed...Should I pull the motor or reassemble... Only problem is ...I got a bucket of bolts...No clue where they go or how many are missing... Sux Huh !!! Any resourses to match up and or get bolt specs for the engine would be greatly appreciated...Engine had a blown head gasket...No water in oil and only 164,000 miles...What do you suggest...

well you have a nice base to go any number of ways with.
First figure out what your goals are and lets go from there.
So what are your usage plans?
Will this be on the road?
Off road?
Where?
How Often?
Will you drive or tow there?

As far as your motor goes, Id reassemble. Head bolts should stand out and be easy to identify, as should intake manifold bolts

So far, you've got the only other dual front shock K5 I've seen. I've got an 87 Burb with the same package. Keep the FI, don't even think about going carb! As far as FI goes, this is about as simple as it gets, and it functions beautifully. If you have any trouble codes you can't diagnose, my scanner will work with these trucks. As for the motor, I don't know what to tell you. Do you have any idea why it was disassembled in the first place?

Gotta love those Blazers. With the 700R4 I would suggest using a large tranny cooler in addition to the one built into the radiator. 700R4's are good transmissions if they are taken care of.
