Not sure where to post this, but if anyone has the desire to take apart an old radial engine that you don't have to ever worry about putting it back together, hit me up! The plan is to make some lamps, tables, etc. I definitely plan to keep a lamp or two, not sure what is going to come of these. I have already removed the cowling off one, and got two cylinders off it today. The pistons are MASSIVE. The intake and exhaust valves are about 3" in diameter.

WOW! I would have thought these be desirable for restorers.
Some parts----hopefully. Hopefully they are worth more as parts than whole. But for reference, the whole engine, cowling, and prop I have been offered $3500 each. Would I make money at that? Yes. But I also see polished props (single, not the assembly of three) on sites for $2000-$6000 each as decoration.

I have contacted a few places to see if they are interested in parts, still waiting to hear back.

Dang! I was going to ask for a valve for a desk weight but I don't think I can afford it.

No clue what valves are worth. A friend told me if the spark plugs are tested and useable that the spark plugs are worth $50-100 each. Finding prices on this stuff is the hard part (and where to sell it). I do intend to remove the valves, but I have to find a valve spring compressor big enough.
